MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 7, 2009) – Team Lowe’s Racing has launched a new Web site design just in time for the 2009 season, offering up-to-date information, behind-the-scenes content, race recaps, photos and more for fans of Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 Lowe’s team.
LowesRacing.com is the official site and fan club home of Team Lowe’s racing and three-time defending champion Johnson.
The newly updated site presents fans the opportunity to sign up for a free membership to the Team Lowe’s Racing fan club, giving elite access to exclusive videos, a free subscription to Track Record magazine, member-only wallpapers, special merchandise opportunities, newsletters and other exciting deals available to members only.
In addition, fans visiting LowesRacing.com between now and March 31 can register to win Jimmie’s 2010 Camaro, which will debut as the pace car at the Feb. 15 Daytona 500.
“This is a really cool opportunity for fans,” Johnson said. “The new site looks great, and it offers Team Lowe’s Racing members a great opportunity to get exclusive insight into Lowe’s and our race team.”
Fan Club members also will have the ability take a website-feedback survey. In return, Lowe’s will give the first 5,000 respondents a free SKIL power tool worth $30.
“We really wanted to give the fans what they were looking for,” said Gray Abercrombie, Sports Marketing Manager for Lowe’s. “This new Web site offers fun and unique ways to get fans of Jimmie and Lowe’s Racing involved.”
