Hendrick Motorsports drivers will appear at Daytona Fan Fest

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 3, 2009) – Three-time Daytona 500 winner Jeff Gordon is the latest driver added to the schedule for the annual NASCAR Preseason Thunder Fan Fests at historic Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on Friday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 17. Gordon, a four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion and driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, is scheduled to appear Saturday, Jan. 17 during the noon to 4 p.m. session. During that time, Gordon will be joined by teammates three-time champion Jimmie Johnson and veteran Mark Martin. Dale Earnhardt Jr., driver of the No. 88 AMP Energy/National Guard Chevrolet, will appear during the 4 p.m.-8 p.m. session that day. Tickets, which are on sale now, are $15 with autograph session availability limited to only 100 people per driver in advance. Gordon’s autograph session availability will go on sale starting Monday, Jan. 5 at 9 a.m. The NASCAR Preseason Thunder Fan Fest will feature interactive fan forums, autograph sessions, show cars, displays, music, online auction and a blood drive.
