Highlights of the holidays: Racing, skiing and a wedding

CONCORD, N.C. -- It was certainly an eventful holiday season for the Hendrick Motorsports teammates.

Jimmie Johnson and family spent some time in Aspen, and Jeff Gordon looks to have taken his family skiing as well after a whirlwind 2016 season that saw him fill in as the driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet SS for eight races.

Kasey Kahne headed all the way to Australia, and Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman -- who will drive the No. 88 Chevy in February's The Clash -- were quick to wish everyone a very merry Christmas.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s holiday plans might have topped them all, of course -- he married fiancée Amy Reimann on New Year's Eve.

Hey dad check me out as Keilan and Karson push Tanner around race shop in one of his cars. Tanner loves his friends and cousins. When other kids are around he gets sooo excited, it's awesome to see them all take such good care of him.
