CONCORD, N.C. -- The NASCAR Cup Series has a new, stage-based format this season, and the Hendrick Motorsports drivers are eager to see it play out.
From adding "another level of strategy" to providing more chances to win and earn points, the teammates noted plenty of reasons to be excited.
“We do everything right now for that final race run, that final restart,” Kasey Kahne said. “Now we have to find ways to be good all the time. You can’t look so far out, you’ve got to look sooner to get those points in the first stage, then the second stage and then the final stage.”
