LAS VEGAS -- Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kasey Kahne will roll off the grid in the fourth row, starting seventh.
Chase Elliott also made it to the final round of Friday's qualifying session at Las Vegas. He will start five positions behind his teammate in 12th.
Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. did not advance past the second round. They will start 16th and 18th, respectively.
“We’ve got a very sharp and fast Kobalt Tools Chevrolet,” Johnson said. “Nothing anybody did wrong, but I just hate that we missed it by that small little margin.”
Brad Keselowski captured the pole.
Sunday's race is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on FOX, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
