CONCORD, N.C. – This weekend’s festivities at Watkins Glen International will culminate with Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race.
But the fun at the road course gets started on Friday.
Watkins Glen International Fan Fest kicks off at 6:45 p.m. local time, and Jimmie Johnson is set to help get things started.
Johnson will hit the infield Summer Stage for a question-and-answer session with the fans in attendance.
Fans with a weekend ticket will be admitted to the event, which also features a concert headlined by Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real – a band led by the son of legendary musician Willie Nelson.
VIP access passes are also available for the Fan Fest for $50.
Saturday night’s entertainment will also feature plenty of music from Small Town Shade and Kimber Lane.
