JOLIET, Ill – Chase Elliott secured the Stage 2 win at Chicagoland Speedway.

Elliott and the No. 24 NAPA Brakes Chevy team restarted the stage in fourth and quickly claimed the second position before the first 10 laps of the stage were complete. After a green-flag pit stop for tires and fuel, Elliott won the race off pit road and held the lead for the remainder of the stage.

Jimmie Johnson restarted 12th and notched one position during the 80-lap stage to take the green-checkered flag in 11th. 

Kasey Kahne finished Stage 2 in 21st with teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. scoring a 28th-place stage result.

With the first two stages complete, a final 107-lap segment remains before the checkered flag waves at Chicagoland.
