CONCORD, N.C. – We’ve all seen how skilled Jimmie Johnson is behind the wheel.

But how is he as a driving instructor?

What about if the driver is blindfolded?

That was the task at hand when Johnson took six people on the “Ride of Your Life” courtesy of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, which Johnson has been a member of for more than 15 years.

Johnson rode shotgun with local sports personalities ranging from Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil to Charlotte Hornets center Frank Kaminsky, North Carolina Tar Heels football coach Larry Fedora and even ESPN personality Marty Smith.

“You can be my spotter any day,” Smith joked at the end of his trip around the track.

All six videos are now available on YouTube. Check out the playlist, starting with Smith’s ride with Johnson at the top of the story.
