CONCORD, N.C. – Sunday at Kansas Speedway marks the conclusion of Round 2 of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs and Jimmie Johnson will battle to secure a position in the Round of 8.
Johnson – a three-time winner at the 1.5-mile track -- noted the pressure of clinching a spot as the rounds progress.
“The playoffs are never comfortable and then as each elimination takes place, the intensity and that uncomfortable level continues to rise,” the driver said.
