CONCORD, N.C. – This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Martinsville Speedway to take on the paperclip-shaped racetrack.

But before things heat up for 500 laps of short-track racing, fans can watch a different competition at the Martinsville Fan Fest.

Nine drivers will participate in an array of games and activities throughout Fan Fest, including the driver of the No. 5 UniFirst Chevrolet SS, Kasey Kahne.

Kahne will join fellow Cup Series driver Matt DiBenedetto in a game of “Family Feud.” The drivers will each have a team of fans as their "family" for the competition.

Fan Fest kicks off Saturday, Oct. 28, at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Party Plaza. The event is free to all fans.

Kahne looks forward to interacting with the fans when he takes the stage at 7 p.m. ET.

“I think when the fans come out and enjoy that type of thing it’s fun to be there. It’s fun to see them and enjoy that time with them,” Kahne said. “A lot of times, they’re enjoying the race in the stands and we’re enjoying the race in the car but you’re not really interacting. To do that with a big group of fans who are excited for the Sunday show means a lot to me.”
