New Look for No. 25 GMAC Chevrolets in 2006

When race car engines officially come to life at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February for the start of the 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series season, the fleet of No. 25 GMAC Chevrolets driven by 22-year-old Brian Vickers will have a different look. Adorned in its new colors, a freshly painted, newly re-designed No. 25 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS was displayed for the first time Dec. 20 during festivities leading up to the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Ala. Vickers began his career at Hendrick Motorsports in 2003 behind the wheel of red, white and blue GMAC-sponsored Chevrolets, capturing the first NASCAR Busch Series championship for Hendrick Motorsports that season. “I have a lot of good memories with the red, white and blue colors from the Busch Series in 2003,” said Vickers, who moved to the NEXTEL Cup Series full-time in 2004. “I think the new design looks great and I think others will agree when they see it on the track.” GMAC has been a longstanding corporate partner of Hendrick Motorsports since 1994 and has been a part of each of the nine NASCAR championships earned by the organization.
