CONCORD, N.C. – Last weekend was a momentous one for Alex Bowman.
His first race as the full-time driver of the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
His first Daytona 500 as a member of Hendrick Motorsports
And he was set to start on the pole, no less.
There was a lot to take in before the race even began, including a meeting with five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning.
