CONCORD, N.C. – Each Wednesday, a new edition of #MorningsWith airs live on the Hendrick Motorsports Twitter account, introducing fans to teammates all across the organization’s Concord, North Carolina, campus.

This week, we got to know Megan Horn, a process engineer.

“I basically work with the employees that do all the tasks on campus and we come up with ways to make our processes better,” she explained. “It might be safety-related, efficiency, productivity, performance, quality – anything that is an improvement.”

She said her job is all about “finding those opportunities on campus.”

Degreed as an industrial engineer, Horn went through what a typical day looks like in her role

She also chronicled what she described as her “non-traditional” path to Hendrick Motorsports, which included working in the railroad industry, and how she still finds parallels between those two careers.

Horn’s office is housed in the engine department, and she is honored to be part of that tight-knit group.

“The history and the pride in this department is pretty significant,” she said, “and it really is a reflection of this company as a whole.”
