Help Support The Troops!

America Supports You is a Department of Defense campaign designed to highlight how Americans across the country are supporting the men and women of the armed forces. It directly communicates that message of support to those serving domestically and abroad. The support of the American people builds and sustains the morale of those fighting to defend freedom against the tyranny of terrorism, and communicates America's recognition and appreciation of their courage and commitment to our country. America Supports You spotlights what Americans are doing to support the troops, encourages others to join the team and allows all to tell their stories by giving voice and visibility to their efforts. America Supports You provides a venue for people to personally thank the troops for their freedom. Since the launch of the program last November, more than 115,000 Americans have sent messages to the U.S. armed forces. Every person who sends a message on the site can receive an America Supports You dog tag to wear as a visible sign of support.
