CONCORD, N.C. - Memorial Day weekend is approaching, and at Charlotte Motor Speedway, all four Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s will feature the name of a fallen soldier atop the windshield as part of NASCAR’s annual NASCAR Salutes program.
The Chevys will compete for 600 miles Sunday night, and Hendrick Motorsports leads teams all-time with 11 wins in the event. The victories have come via a record of five different drivers. Two drivers from the organization have scored their first career NASCAR Cup Series win at Charlotte: Jeff Gordon (1994) and Casey Mears (2007).
