CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 19, 2002) -- After some well-deserved time off, the two NASCAR Busch Series teams of Hendrick Motorsports will join their NASCAR Winston Cup Series counterparts at Dover (Del.) International Speedway this weekend.
Three-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Jack Sprague hopes for a repeat performance at the 1-mile oval, where he earned a top-five finish earlier in the season.
Sprague is currently fourth in the Busch Series driver standings, with one victory, eight top-fives and 13 top-10 finishes in 2002.
Driving the No. 5 GMAC Financial Services Chevrolet, Ricky Hendrick is looking to improve on his 17th-place finish at Dover on June 1.
Hendrick is currently 26th in the standings after missing six races earlier in the year following shoulder surgery. The Charlotte, N.C., native has two top-10 finishes in 2002.
Broadcast by TNT and MRN Radio live from Dover International Speedway, the MBNA All-American Heroes 200 will take the green flag on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. (ET).
