Jimmie Johnson to Sign for Charity

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 18, 2003) – Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet, will visit the Hendrick Motorsports museum on Tuesday, May 20 to help raise money for The Hendrick Marrow Program by signing autographs from 4:05 until 5:05 p.m. Johnson will sign copies of “FAST FOOD,” a cookbook featuring the recipes of well-known NASCAR personalities, with proceeds benefiting The Hendrick Marrow Program. Books will go on sale at the Hendrick Motorsports team store at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning for $19.95 (plus tax). The signing will be limited to the first 200 fans and wristbands will be distributed as books are sold. Purchase of “FAST FOOD” is required and prior purchases are not eligible. Autographs will be limited to one per person. Also on Tuesday, local radio station WSOC-FM will broadcast live from the Hendrick Motorsports museum and team store.
