CONCORD, N.C. (Oct. 8, 2003) – For the second time this season, rain washed out ARCA Series qualifying at Lowe's Motor Speedway, meaning Thursday night’s starting lineup will be set by owner points.
Competing in his final ARCA event of 2003, Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 87 ditech.com Chevrolet, will have to start the 150-lap event in 30th. The 18-year-old finished 11th in the May event at LMS after starting 29th because of rain.
The ditech.com team is seeking their third ARCA Series victory of the season after posting wins at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway and Kentucky Speedway earlier in the year.
Television coverage of Thursday’s EasyCare 150 ARCA race can be seen live on SPEED Channel beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
