LVMS Announces Starting Time Change

LAS VEGAS – The start time for the March 12, 2006 UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been changed to 1:40 p.m. Pacific Time. The speedway had announced a 12:05 p.m. start time, but after discussions with NASCAR officials, the decision was made to move the start back 95 minutes. The Sam’s Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series race is set for 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. Busch Series qualifying will be held at 12:05 p.m. on Saturday. Qualifying for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 will be Friday, March 10. Tickets are on sale for the NASCAR Weekend by calling 1-800-644-4444 or by logging on to www.lvms.com. LVMS also has a limited number of three-day pit passes, pre-race activities passes and Lucky 7 parking passes available through its ticket office.
