GMAC Insurance Agent Shares Spotlight at All Star Race

On May 20, 2006, GMAC Insurance expanded the spotlight for one of their Independent Agents, Foy’s Insurance Agency of Jacksonville, N.C. The lucky Agency shared a portion of the marketing space on the No. 25 GMAC-sponsored Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, driven by Brian Vickers. Candy Foy, owner of Foy’s Insurance Agency, attended the race along with Cindy Anhorn and Sheila Foy, two of her agents. Foy’s Insurance Agency was given this opportunity through an exclusive GMAC Insurance marketing promotion in conjunction with Hendrick Motorsports of Charlotte, N.C. The Foy’s Insurance Agency name appeared alongside GMAC Insurance on the rear portion of the car known as the “TV Panel.” In addition, on race day Candy and her team were able to tour the Hendrick Motorsports facility, the garage and pit road at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Foy’s Insurance Agency has been in business since 1989 and is one of GMAC Insurance’s top producing agencies in North Carolina. Candy was congratulated by Brian Vickers through a surprise phone call the week before the race. She and her staff were even more thrilled to meet Brian in person at the track and to receive a custom engraved Hendrick Motorsports piston commemorating the event.
