Tickets still available for Dale Earnhardt Jr. Celebrity Sports Auction

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 8, 2008) – Only a few days remain before the fifth annual Dale Jr. Celebrity Sports Auction event, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s fundraiser to benefit The Dale Jr. Foundation. The event is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 13, at the Concord Convention Center. It will include live and silent auctions in addition to an onstage Q&A with Earnhardt Jr., Elliott Sadler, Dale Jarrett, Kerry Earnhardt, Brad Keselowski, Landon Cassill, and PGA Tour golfer Boo Weekley. Kicking off Earnhardt Jr.’s fundraising efforts will be a charity concert at Whisky River Charlotte on Sunday, Oct. 12, featuring multi-platinum singer-songwriter Gary Allan, with NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kyle Petty as an opening act. Some of the many items available for the live and silent auctions include: A signed Jimmie Johnson uniform, a hat signed by every member of the winning American Ryder Cup team, an autographed Darrell Waltrip helmet, a seven-night stay in a two bedroom/two bathroom condo in the Silverado Resort at Napa Valley, a scrapbook with hero cards signed by NASCAR’s top 20 drivers, four Boston Red Sox tickets in owner John Henry’s seats and much more.
