SHOWTIME to air full-length 'TOGETHER: The Hendrick Motorsports Story' on Wednesday

NEW YORK (April 7, 2010) – SHOWTIME will air the full-length version of “TOGETHER: The Hendrick Motorsports Story” this Wednesday, April 7 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Narrated by Tom Cruise, “TOGETHER” chronicles the history of the nine-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship team founded by Rick Hendrick. Wednesday will mark the first television broadcast of the documentary-style film in its entirety. The film is available in DVD and Blu-ray at the Hendrick Motorsports Museum and Team Store, Wal-Mart, Amazon.com, NASCAR.com and other retailers. The full-length version of "TOGETHER" (100 minutes) with bonus material is NASCAR Media Group's first officially licensed title available on Blu-ray Disc. A portion of Hendrick Motorsports' proceeds from those sales will benefit the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, N.C. SHOWTIME generally runs "Inside NASCAR" during this Wednesday timeslot, but with no NASCAR Sprint Cup event scheduled last weekend, the next new episode will air next Wednesday, April 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
