BROOKLYN, Mich. - MIS Kids Club members will have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive question-and-answer session with the five-time defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event on Sunday, Aug. 21.
The MIS Kids Club event will begin at 10:15 a.m. local time in the MIS Cares Kids Zone in the New Holland Fan Plaza. Registration tables will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m. to scan MIS Kids Club membership cards, as well as sign up new members.
“I think the MIS Kids Club is a great idea, and I’m glad to see the track doing something geared toward our young fans,” said Johnson, who has a one-year-old daughter named Genevieve. “I’m sure there will be some pretty funny questions, and that’s what’s going to make this so fun. I just hope they enjoy it as much as I know I will.”
The MIS Kids Club is designed for the speedway’s young racing fans. Children 12 years of age or younger can now connect with MIS to stay updated on all the latest news, as well as be able to take part in exclusive race weekend and other special events.
The MIS Kids Club membership is free and will provide a child with an official membership card, Kids Club gift, Kids Club member-only race weekend activity, members-only contests with great prizes and a chance to win great race weekend experiences.
To sign up prior to Sunday’s event, fans can stop by the Fan Appreciation booth in the New Holland Fan Plaza or visit http://www.miskidsclub.com/
