Kasey Kahne to cut ribbon at Hendrickcars.com Charlotte store

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 5 Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet, will be signing autographs for fans during the grand opening of the new Hendrickcars.com retail store on Tuesday, May 22 at 3 p.m.

Fans are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony, which is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., and other celebratory activities for the Hendrickcars.com retail store opening at 9029 South Blvd., in Charlotte. The retail outlet for the online shopping site will feature approximately 150 of the 20,000 vehicles in the Hendrickcars.com inventory.

Starting at noon, the event will feature Kahne’s No. 5 Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet, games, giveaways, free food and more. There will be 250 wristbands distributed for the autograph session with Kahne. Distribution begins at noon with a limit of one wristband per person.

One lucky Hendrickcars.com Twitter follower will win a personal meet and greet with Kahne during the grand opening event. Fans should follow @Hendrickcars on Twitter and use the hashtag #MeetKasey starting on Monday, May 14 to be entered to win. The contest ends Thursday, May 17, and the winner will be randomly chosen and announced on Friday, May 18. The winner must be able to attend the grand opening event on May 22.

Kahne earned his second pole position of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season in the No. 5 Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on April 1.
