DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne survived four rounds of eliminations to become the finalists in the NASCAR Drive for the Cover competition. Earnhardt and Kahne beat out 30 other Sprint Cup drivers who were in the running to adorn the cover of NASCAR The Game: Inside Line.
Both drivers are having strong seasons with one win each. After 17 races this season, Earnhardt has earned seven top-five finishes and 13 top-10s in his No. 88 Chevrolet. Kahne has raced to four top-five finishes, eight top-10s and two pole positions in the No. 5 Chevrolet. Earnhardt currently ranks second in the championships standings and Kahne is vying for a wild card spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
Voting for the championship round of the Drive for the Cover campaign is currently underway and will conclude on July 15. Fans can vote once a day for their favorite Hendrick Motorsports driver in the bracketed tournament by clicking here.
