TALLADEGA, Ala. - Team owner Rick Hendrick was one of four inductees announced Friday for the 2013 class for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
Hendrick was selected along with Dale Inman, Don Schumacher and Rusty Wallace.
“I am very excited to announce Dale, Rusty, Rick and Don as the 2013 Motorsports Hall of Fame inductees," said IMHOF Executive Director Grant Lynch. "All four of these men have accomplished a great deal in motorsports and truly deserve recognition for all that they have done.”
“It’s humbling to even be mentioned with names like Dale Inman, Rusty Wallace and Don Schumacher, and many of my idols are past inductees,” said Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible people throughout my career. Any success we’ve had at Hendrick Motorsports is a tribute to their hard work and dedication, and it means a lot to share such an honor with them.”
