The Last Time: Indianapolis Motor Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. -- This Sunday, July 27, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The last time the drivers took to the track there was almost exactly a year ago -- July 28, 2013.

That Sunday saw all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers emerge from the 400-mile race in the top 10. It brought Hendrick Motorsports' total to 35 top-10 finishes in 20 races run at the famed track.

Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 team placed second, with Kasey Kahne and the No. 5 team right behind in third place.

It marked Johson's 14th top-10 finish of the 2013 season, which led the Sprint Cup Series at the time.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the No. 88 team were next in sixth place and Jeff Gordon and the No. 24 team took home the seventh spot.
