DOVER, Del. -- Three Hendrick Motorsports drivers made the second round of Friday's qualifying session at Dover International Speedway, and two will start Sunday's race in the top 10.
Jeff Gordon led the way, qualifying sixth. Just behind him was Jimmie Johnson in eighth, and Kasey Kahne will start 12th after his second-round run. Dale Earnhardt Jr. will roll off the grid 25th.
"I'm happy we're up there," Gordon said. "That was a good fight. That's the way this place is -- we're going to have to do that all day long on Sunday."
