ELMHURST, Ill. -- LiftMaster, the number one brand of professionally installed garage door openers, announces the LiftMaster Garage Band contest, which will provide one amateur band with the opportunity to perform at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 24.
This unique collaboration between LiftMaster and Charlotte Motor Speedway invites aspiring acts to submit a video showcasing an original song at LiftMaster.com/garageband until March 31. Beginning on April 6, consumers will be invited to visit the site and vote for their favorite garage band. Additionally, all consumers who vote will be entered to win a trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 600-mile race and the chance to meet Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 5 LiftMaster Chevrolet SS.
The band that is ultimately crowned the LiftMaster Garage Band, as a result of the consumer vote, will play on the main stage at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the 600 race weekend, meet Kahne and receive a cash prize of $5,000.

LiftMaster's celebration of the 600-mile race begins with LiftMaster Pole Night on Thursday, May 21, continues with the debut performance from the LiftMaster Garage Band and concludes with Kahne competing on Sunday, May 24 in the No. 5 LiftMaster Chevrolet SS.
