Jimmie Johnson, piloting the No. 48 Lowe's Pro Services Chevrolet SS, will take the green flag in Sunday's 400 miler from the 14th position.

"My hardest time was down in (Turns) 1 and 2 just getting the car to turn," Johnson said. "The wind to our backs really made the car tight for me through the center trying to turn my back to the wind. So a little disappointed with 14th, but we will take it."

Dale Earnhardt Jr., driver of the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS will start 17th.

"I was really happy with the car in race trim and qualifying trim today," Earnhardt said. "Just a little disappointed, I think we have a better car than this."

Kasey Kahne's No. 5 Time Warner Cable Chevrolet SS rounds out the Hendrick Motorsports drivers in the 19th position.

A Hendrick Motorsports engine sits on the pole for the second week in a row after Kurt Busch posted the fastest lap in tonight's three-round qualifying session.
