CONCORD, N.C. -- A day after Jimmie Johnson was given a joke gift on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," it was Jeff Gordon's turn on the daytime television circuit.
Gordon made a guest appearance on "LIVE! with Kelly and Michael" to discuss his final full-time Sprint Cup Series season, his post-2015 plans and his daughter stepping into a race car.
Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan even provided a few ideas for Gordon's next steps, including trying to become a talk show host.
"Because that's what all ex-athletes do!" Strahan joked.
