CONCORD, N.C. -- The Nos. 48 and 88 race shop found a colorful route to some team-building before Sunday's race at Pocono.
The paintball excursion seemed to be enjoyed by both sides of the battle, though it appears Dale Earnhardt Jr. got the best of Jimmie Johnson.
Even two days later with the Pocono race in the rearview mirror, Earnhardt and Johnson still had the paintball trip on their minds.
Of course, the bruises probably help serve as a reminder.
As did the paintball-stained hat that Earnhardt gave to a lucky fan at the track.
