DOVER, Del. – Due to inclement weather, all track activity at Dover International Speedway has been cancelled for Friday.
That includes a practice session and qualifying, which means that the field for Sunday’s race will be determined based on the current standings.
That means Jimmie Johnson will lead the four Hendrick Motorsports cars to the green flag in the fifth position.
Jeff Gordon will join him in the top-10 with a 10th-place start, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will line up 12th for the final race of the Challenger Round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
Kasey Kahne will roll off the grid 17th.
Sunday’s race is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network, MRN and SiriusXM.
