CONCORD, N.C. -- Jay Leno is back on television with a brand new show, Jay Leno's Garage, and Jimmie Johnson helped kick it off Wednesday night on CNBC.
Johnson flew to Burbank, California, to meet up with Leno, who just so happened to be driving Johnson's car.
The two chatted while driving in the updated classic ride -- a 1971 Corvette.
In the clip below, Leno jokes about the perils of driving with a race car driver riding shotgun and tests just how much "punch" the car has in it.
