CONCORD, N.C. -- One lucky fan is getting ready for the ride of a lifetime.
Wednesday morning, Kasey Kahne officially announced the winners of the Hendrick Ride Along sweepstakes that coincided with the No. 5 HendrickRideAlong.com Chevrolet SS the driver piloted for four races this season.
“You can expect that we will go as fast as that car will go. And we are going to get as close to the wall as I can get without hitting it,” Kahne smiled when discussing the ride-along. “It will be a good time. Charlotte is a really neat track; I have won a lot of races there and enjoy driving around that place.”
The Hendrick Ride Along program is part of Hendrick Automotive Group’s promotion to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride in a stock car with Kahne. The all-expenses-paid trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, includes the ride along, travel, accommodations and a full behind-the-scenes tour of Hendrick Motorsports.
