CONCORD, N.C. – Last month, Hendrick Motorsports announced the addition of WIX Filters to its lineup as a key technical partner beginning with the 2016 season.
With the new partnership, all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers will be utilizing the No. 1 air and oil filters in motor sports underneath the hoods of their Chevrolet SS race cars. In addition, WIX will provide critical development support.
“WIX brings incredible technical depth to their product line,” said John Barilka, engine development manager at Hendrick Motorsports. “That gives us the confidence we need in being aggressive in (engine) building and taking advantage of every bit we can. They help us do that.”
