Dale Earnhardt Jr. revealed a little more than week ago that his favorite college basketball team is Carolina, and as the Tar Heels were pulling away from Notre Dame last weekend in the Elite Eight, he shared his sentiment on Twitter.
When the final whistle blew and the Tar Heels had officially moved on to the semifinals, UNC's final score didn't escape the driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet SS.
Perhaps it's a good omen as the Heels look to advance to the championship game on Monday.
