CONCORD, N.C. — History took place Wednesday, as the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2017 was announced, featuring Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick and two familiar faces from the organization's past -- drivers Benny Parsons and Mark Martin.
And some of that history is on display on the Hendrick Motorsports campus inside the Museum & Team Store.
Parsons and Martin, both named as two of NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers in 1998, have memorable exhibits in the museum. They are just part of the extensive displays throughout the building, some of which are highlighted here.
And with only a day before the strenuous 600-mile race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Hendrick Motorsports Museum & Team Store has updated its hours for race fans to visit pieces of history of the organization.
