Earnhardt provides glimpse into recovery

CONCORD, N.C. — When Dale Earnhardt Jr. last checked in on his “The Dale Jr. Download” podcast, he explained that he was continuing his recovery from a concussion, working to return to the No. 88 Chevrolet SS.

That recovery involves various exercises that his doctors have prescribed, and Thursday afternoon he provided a unique glimpse into his routine.

Boring video, but the most challenging thing we do is this. Dark room, disco light, and walking backward and forward moving your head left and right. There's about 4 different exercises in this environment. #rehabtime
