BRISTOL, Tenn. – Due to inclement weather, the remainder of the race at Bristol Motor Speedway has been postponed.
The first 48 laps of the event were completed Saturday night, and at the time of the red flag that halted the field, Chase Elliott was leading his Hendrick Motorsports teammates in second place. Jeff Gordon is next in eighth place, followed by Kasey Kahne in 14th and Jimmie Johnson in 29th.
The race is now scheduled to resume at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. It will be broadcast on CNBC.
“We haven’t really even got going so I think until we get some laps and get racing it is really kind of hard to say how it’s going to go," Elliott said. "I’m looking forward to the NAPA AUTO PARTS team getting back going tomorrow.”
