CONCORD, N.C. -- Fresh off earning his record-tying seventh NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship, Jimmie Johnson was up bright and early to join host Dan Patrick on "The Dan Patrick Show" Monday morning.
The driver of the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet SS estimated that he'd gotten "about an hour" of sleep, and he was asked whether Sunday night's accomplishment felt real yet.
"It's starting to sink in," Johnson said. "It's wild to me. I feel like I'm watching a movie for someone else, quite honestly."
