CONCORD, N.C. -- In a matter of hours, Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick will officially join the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
And with that honor comes anticipation, nerves and, most of all, excitement for the team owner.
"It’s a special deal and very emotional and very humbling at the same time," Hendrick said. "So, I’m looking forward to it. I’m going to accept it for all of our teammates that made it happen, past and present. It’s just a real exciting time to see us recognized by our peers as doing something special in the sport."
