HOUSTON -- While visiting the Super Bowl LI host city of Houston, Jimmie Johnson spent some time with a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist.
Former All-Pro running back LaDainian Tomlinson and Johnson both joined FOX Sports' "NASCAR Race Hub" Wednesday evening.
On the show, Tomlinson revealed that he will serve as the honorary starter for the 59th running of the Daytona 500 later this month, and Johnson gave him some tips on how to wave the green flag.
In turn, Tomlinson helped the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion catch a football.
Hendrick Motorsports teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. is plenty fired up to see Tomlinson at the track come race day, Feb. 26.
