CONCORD, N.C. -- Last week, NASCAR announced the stage lengths for the first race of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season -- the Daytona 500.

Thursday morning, the stage lengths for every points race on the schedule were announced.

"Every track is unique for its characteristics in length, surface and overall racing conditions," said Scott Miller, NASCAR senior vice president of competition. "We worked closely with race teams on expected fuel and tire runs over the entirety of an event when considering stage lengths. And in the end, stage lengths were decided based upon what would provide the best race for fans."

Below is a look at the lap number at which each stage will end. In the Daytona 500, for example, the 60-lap first stage will end on Lap 60, followed by the 60-lap Stage 2, which ends on Lap 120. Then, the final, 80-lap stage ends with the checkered flag on Lap 200.
