KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- For the second consecutive stage at Kansas Speedway Saturday night, Kasey Kahne took the green checkered flag inside the top 10.

Kahne's seventh-place finish in Stage 2 earned him four extra points.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. continued his push toward the front after starting the race in 33rd, finishing Stage 2 in 15th.

During the caution between Stages 1 and 2, Jimmie Johnson was penalized for driving through too many pit boxes and was forced to take the green flag from the rear of the field.

As he made his way back toward the front, he made contact with a competitor and fell a lap down as he headed to pit road. He took a wave-around, however, and finished Stage 2 back on the lead lap in 25th.

After taking damage on pit road due to contact with a competitor in Stage 1, Elliott moved to 39th at the end of Stage 2, eight laps behind the leaders.

The race will conclude with a final, 107-lap segment. Tune in to FOX Sports 1, MRN or SiriusXM NASCAR Radio to catch the finish.
