CONCORD, N.C. – After a late night at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, Jimmie Johnson was up bright and early Monday morning for his foundation’s first annual Fit Fest.
The event included a 5K, 8K, half marathon, four-hour mountain bike ride and kids race. Johnson found himself on two wheels instead of four when he took on the four-hour mountain bike challenge.
All of the proceeds from the Fit Fest benefited the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is dedicated to assisting children, families and communities in need throughout the United States. Since 2006, more than $9.5 million has been contributed to various organizations.
