CONCORD, N.C. – Chase Elliott will make his second NASCAR Cup Series start tomorrow at Kentucky Speedway.
He arrived last year to a newly reconfigured racing surface, but this year, Elliott will be focused on the extra two-inch asphalt overlay that was added to the track last October.
Elliott shared his thoughts on what it will be like to race on the tricky pavement in the Bluegrass state.
“I really don’t know what to expect when we go back,” Elliott said. “It will be a fresh repave so pretty treacherous at times, got to be careful to stay in the part of the track that is clean.”
