DETROIT – Before heading to New Hampshire, Jimmie Johnson made a special visit to Michigan to promote the upcoming Aug. 13 race at Michigan International Speedway.

Johnson’s visit kicked off at the Michigan State Police headquarters to help celebrate their 100th anniversary.

He also met some special fans from Detroit Police Athletic League, a nonprofit organization that helps builds character in children through leadership programs.

To end the day, Johnson took a bike ride around Detroit with Slow Roll, an organization with over 12,000 cyclists who participate in weekly Monday evening rides.
