BROOKLYN, Mich.–  Chase Elliott will lead his teammates to the green flag Sunday at Michigan International Speedway.

Elliott advanced to the final round of qualifying Friday evening and will start fifth.

“I felt like it was a solid day for us," Elliott said. "Our No. 24 NAPA Chevy has driven pretty good all day long, which I think is encouraging. Fifth is a plenty good enough starting spot, so it will be a good selection on pit road and try to execute on Sunday.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne made it to the second round and will start 19th, 22nd and 23rd, respectively.

Brad Keselowski captured the pole.

Sunday’s race is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
