CONCORD, N.C. – Labor Day weekend at Darlington Raceway, the Hendrick Motorsports teammates will sport a distinctly retro vibe.
Tuesday morning, Lowe’s unveiled Jimmie Johnson’s throwback No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet SS, which he will pilot during the Southern 500.
The scheme is inspired by Lowe’s trucks from 1986.
Now, all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers have revealed their retro rides for NASCAR’s throwback Southern 500 weekend.
Take a look back at Kasey Kahne’s, Chase Elliott’s and Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Chevys for the Sept. 3 race as well.
